One of the first aims of the site team is to create a tag cloud from the index of tags and their popularity. Before that can happen however we must have built and tested a reliable level of data.

Most of the data we will be tracking to start with will be sources from outside and then cross referenced against our own indexing. Our hope is that as a community we can identify common keys that can be used to gage the wider level of interest without necessarily brute force indexing every blog.

The tag cloud will be shown on the main page and a small verison in the sidebar.
